A Romantic Engagement Session at Lighthouse Beach in Evanston

Noah and Leah had the most stunning engagement session and I am so excited to share it with you!

There’s something so timeless about Lake Michigan as a backdrop—calm, endless, and beautifully reflective of the love between two people starting their journey together. Lighthouse Beach in Evanston is one of my favorite spots for engagement sessions, and this shoot reminded me exactly why.

Nestled against the historic Grosse Point Lighthouse, this location offers the best of both worlds: soft sandy shores and lush greenery just steps away. We wandered along the water’s edge, before exploring the tree-lined paths where golden light filtered through the leaves. It was the perfect balance of serene and romantic.

Sessions like this are why I love photographing love stories—capturing not just posed portraits, but the real connection, joy, and anticipation that make an engagement so special. Lighthouse Beach gave us a stunning canvas, and together we created images that feel both timeless and personal.
